Are we a fit? 3

You hear music in your head all the time.
Sometimes it’s a song from one of your favorite artists that keeps you company through the day.
Sometimes you’re not even aware you’re singing, humming, or tapping to the beat of your inner playlist—until it starts driving someone else crazy.
Sometimes it’s an earworm that drives you crazy, and you wish it would go away.
(Tip: The best way to get rid of a tune in your head that you don’t like is to replace it with one you do.)

And sometimes it’s something fuzzier. A fragment of a song. A verse, a melodic hook, a compelling chord progression, or a funky groove.
You can feel your muse is sending you something, but you don’t have the whole thing yet—and it’s frustrating as hell not knowing how to finish it.

The Search for the Underground River of Inspiration

You’re thirsty. You know you’re close to something real.
You keep getting little trickles of creative juice and suspect there’s a river flowing underground nearby—but how do you find the flow?

Maybe you’ve surfed through hundreds of YouTube videos.
Maybe you’ve taken online songwriting courses.
You’ve found some good stuff, sure. But still, you’re not where you want to be.
You’re still searching.

Who I Serve

Budding Songwriters

You want to touch people deeply with your songs—so much that someone might say, “Wow, that song cracked me open.”
You don’t want to just imitate someone else’s style or churn out generic, forgettable stuff. If you were okay being a copycat, you could have ChatGPT write bland songs for you. But your soul wouldn’t be at peace with that.

You have a sense that the kind of soul-touching song you’re after has to come from you—your lived experience, your raw emotion, your musical instincts. But being that honest feels risky.
Are you ready to let people see you as you truly are?

Heart-Centered Singers

You want to find your natural voice and sing from your heart—not get caught in a mechanical, overly technical approach that takes you away from your center.

Beginner to Intermediate Guitar & Ukulele Players

You want to express yourself through your instrument, not feel clunky or disconnected when you play. You want flow, not frustration.

Getting Past the Doubts

You have this nagging sense that you’re meant to share something—a unique gift, a perspective, a story—but the doubts won’t leave you alone.

Maybe someone told you as a kid that you shouldn’t sing.
Maybe your family wanted you to follow a safer, more “successful” path.
Maybe classmates mocked your early poems or musical experiments.

And you believed them.

Their voices became your inner voices:

“Be realistic. Don’t waste your time.”
“You’ll never get there.”
“It’s too hard.”
“Only really talented or lucky people make it.”
“Get a real job.”
“It’s just your ego. Be more humble.”

And still… something inside you won’t give up.
Something keeps pulling you back to the music.
That’s how you know it’s real.

Where to now?

Maybe you can do it yourself. I was a pretty stubborn do-it-yourselfer too.
And hey, that path can work. But it’s also long, slow, and often lonely.

Sometimes it’s just wiser to let someone guide you—someone who’s walked that path and knows where some of the shortcuts are.

If you’re like me, you don’t just trust anyone to help you find your voice. And I don’t assume I’m the right mentor for everyone either.

I assume you’re motivated.
I trust that you’re doing your due diligence.
And I believe that if you’re here, something has already led you this far.

My hope is that what you find here brings clarity about whether this is a good fit.
