Here’s what my wonderful students had to say about their progress in our sessions:

“Sean is an amazing vocal coach. I truly look forward to our lessons. He’s patient and encouraging. He knows his craft and in such a short time he has really helped me take my singing to the next level. If you are looking for something a little different that takes the fundamentals and then adds to that with a focus of your connection with the song and then conveying that in your delivery of the song, please give him a try. He truly helps you connect with singing from your soul!”

– Lisa (via Lessonface)

“Sean is very patient with my 7 year old and adjusts to his level when needed. My son is progressing well and loves to come to lessons.”

– Rachelle E.

“Sean has helped me find a process for songwriting. I was struggling with the many questions most beginners likely have. Sean has helped me focus and I’ve finally made some progress in writing.”

– David M.

“Sean has been great for this newbie to singing. He’s been flexible around my work schedule, and patient at teaching both practical singing and some music theory.”

– Jon M.

“Sean is a wonderful musician and excellent teacher. He educates Ezra in songwriting, playing, harmony, musical and lyrical styles and even makes space for Ezra to learn different instruments!”

– Beth E. (Ezra’s Mom)

Hi, I’m Sean!

I’m a singer-songwriter coach based in Sutherlin, Oregon. I work with people all over the world.

Nurturing that creativity from the get-go is how I roll. My intention and my function is to hold up a mirror for you to see what’s going on inside yourself.

I’ll guide you to get that song finished and help you fall in love with the process.

Will sessions still work as well if I take them online?

In-person sessions for guitar, ukulele and singing tend to work a bit better than online sessions, but it still works well. Songwriting lessons are still effective online. If online, make sure to find a quiet place with good audio and video quality, and a stable internet connection. You can opt to get a recording sent to you (I don’t share it publicly), unless you specifically prefer for the session not to be recorded. My students have seen great progress both online and in person.
